The MDC - Powered by Lifeshare
Lifeshare formed the MDC (Manchester Digital Collective) as a way of increasing the collective ability of charities within Manchester to tackle digital exclusion.
The MDC is focused on improving everyone’s access to devices, the internet, and courses on how to use their devices. As well as increasing awareness of the issues surrounding digital exclusion.
Free Online Courses
Lifeshare created an online learning platform which started with 25 digital skills courses to teach people the fundamental digital skills they need.
Not only did they create the courses, but they created an online learning platform which allows other members of the MDC to add other digital skills courses. Further increasing the ability of all charities in Manchester to tackle the issues surrounding digital exclusion.
